Injector Return Flow test Hi all, Well I am going to attempt to do the fuel injector return flow test to find if all or any of the injectors are passing too much fuel back to the tank thus lowering the fuel rail pressure and giving P0087 code.
Start by taking the two 8mm bolts out of the top of the overflow bottle on the drivers side. Move the bottle to disconnect the two have inch lines on the front and side, and the 1" hose on bottom. Them loosen the hose clamp in the middle of the air intake. This makes removal of the air filter housing easier.
